It has been a long while since I last did an HDR image. Back then I used to overdo the strength, saturation etc. These days I try to tone down a bit but sometimes can’t help it cos my eyes seem to get attracted to rich colours.
Anyway, yesterday I decided to take a couple of HDR shots. Basically it’s a grass cutting vehicle that’s been lying around outside the Plant where I’m working. I’ve been aiming to shoot this equipment with the Plant as a background but did not have the opportunity to do so due to time constraints. Although the weather wasn’t so good yesterday (very cloudy & gloomy), I just decided to take some shots since I had a bit of time to kill before going back home.
In all, I took two (2) different perspectives of the grass cutter, six (6) exposure per view. Here’s one view.
The images were converted from NEF RAW to TIFF in LR3, merged & processed in Photomatix Pro and final processing back in LR3. Hope I’ve not overdone the processing.
