I have not been shooting much lately, specifically landscapes / seascapes.
Initially wanted to go to Changi Beach CP6 to catch the sunrise at low tide but couldn’t wake up. So went to Punggol Beach instead in the evening to try to catch the sunset. Was supposed to be low tide but not low enough. Was also a bit too much clouds over the horizon, thus covering much of the setting sun.
Made a quick decision to just shoot the stone outcrops with long exposure to get that “milky” water. Used a couple of Cokin ND Grad to hold back the sky.
Shot in NEF and processed in LR2 using a free LR preset “Dust Storm”.
Hope you like the out come. Do let me know what you think.
Great mood! The long exposure really paid off. I love the way you compress the background and foreground.

@Noor Hazmee – Thanks bro! Was contemplating to use a wide angle but ended up with the 17-55mm. Actually I was inspired by one of your photos when I took this. Still think that more could be done with this photo. Hopefully next time when I’m there, I’m gonna try something different.
A photo blog is a great way to showcase your collection of photographs whether you are a professional photographer and want to promote your services or to simply share photographs as a hobby. It’s easy to make your own photoblog, no need to waste time or money to hire a professional web designer.
